He entered Jackson Genl Hosp memphis Tenn 6/22/63 with GSW over 7th Rib was furloughed 8/28/63 and deserted 9/28/63. He is also reported as returned 9/29/63. This record of furlough, desertion and return therefrom is canceled. He was furloughed 9/28/63 to 10/28/63 becamse a deserter from the latter date to about 9/15/64 when he returned to his command.
