This order was set aside and he was tried before a GCM on the charge of desertion, found guilty and sentenced to forfeit fifteen months pay and allowances and to serve one year after his present term of enlistment. Sentence approved and promulgated in Genl Orders No 7 HdQtrs US Forces Morganzia La 9/1/64.
The remark showing him dischaged 5/29/65 is cancelled. He was mustered out of service to date 9/30/65.
